Diamond Eyelashes
Last month, we saw Shu Uemura's Feathered Fantasy Eyelashes, fake eyelashes that were decorated with real feathers for a very unusual look, but Uemura also came out with something even more impressive. The designer created a set of diamond-studded false lashes for Madonna and will now be selling pairs of the .75-carat lashes at seven Neiman Marcus stores for $10,000 per pair. If you've got the extra cash on hand, you can probably get your very own diamond-studded lashes, but for everyone else, Uemura also has another set that give you the look of silvery diamonds at a fraction of the price, since they don't use the real stones.

Seriously who really cares if someone wants to waste ten grand on some eyelashes. It's ridiculous yes, but saying so isn't going to stop some rich idiot from paying for them. Of course that money could be put to better use, however all this talk about hypoallergenic cats has got me worried. Hopefully you all were joking about that. I think its horrible the way these scientifically engineered cats are used for profit, and that people will go out and spend thousands for one of these poor fabricated kitties while millions of homeless animals die every year because they don't get adopted. Cmon people, if you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem.
Sorry off the subject but it's something that I feel very strongly about.
Anyway, $10,000 for eyelashes = dumb.

It's her money! When you spend YOUR money do people tell you that you should have spent it on a charity? NO, they don't, and do you know why? Because it none of their business. So why should you care so much what Madonna spends her money on?

I've heard of cutting fingers off to get a diamond ring......

This is nothing new. I see many people at Christmastime wearing diamond eyelashes and diamond eye bobs in corner of their eyes. Are they fake? I don't know.

I too have to say all these obsessions with the rich and famous are utterly pathetic. What next? Will celebrities consume diamonds so they can place their crap on a silver platter and serve it to the sick and lifeless idiots that viciously search ebay for such stupid items? "Paris Hiltons sparkling feces, $10,000!"
