A Mötley Crüe Manor, Estate of the Day

Today's estate of the day comes from the LA Times Hot Property section. Another divorce special, this one belongs to Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx and his former Playmate wife Donna D'Errico. The house in Agoura Hills is on 40 acres of land. The couple spent the last few years updating the home, which was built in 1982. The six-bedroom home also has a formal dining room, bonus room and a master suite with a spa tub, steam shower and a redwood sauna. One of the bedrooms has been used as a sound studio. There is also a pool, spa, vegetable garden, playground and a meditation garden on the property. It is listed at $2.995 million. After the jump, it's no Metallica mansion but it's still pretty sweet.

Hey, man. Southern Cali's a Desert. Props to anyone willing to build their mansion down there. Although I am surprised that they didn't bother to clean the pond, and maybe pick up the broken down trampoline and stuff for the photos. Seems like they dont REALLY want to sell it. Nice lookin house though, and 40 acres. The house may not be worth 2.9M, but that kind of land in Cali? Worth about half of that price.

Just went to a Motley Crue/Aerosmith concert two weeks a go. The Crue rocked and Aerosmith crashed and burned. They were awful but the Crue jammed for 1 1/2 hours!
As for the crib, it's nice and the 40 acres assures privacy. As for the landscaping, that's the way it is there. It's 3 mil, not 30 like some places. At least it's livable.
