Minneapolis gets a bad rap but the bustling city actually has a lot to recommend it, including a swanky new design hotel.
Chambers Minneapolis is the sister to the
New York hotel and is designed to appeal to the artsy set in the town. The design is minimalist chic accented by almost 250 original artworks. The hotel corridors feature video installations. The hotel is home to 45 guestrooms and 15 suites which boast rain showers, heated floors, LCD televisions and Italian glass tiles. New York-aspirational dining is provided by a the Chambers Kitchen which features dishes by Jean-Georges Vongerichten.
Hotel Chatter reports that the rooms generally start t $450 but that now through December there is a Grand Opening rate, offering king studios from $225 per night.
