The World's Most Expensive Lipstick and Mascara

We've seen some crazy diamond-studded ideas before but this may be the most ridiculous or the most fabulous depending on your viewpoint. H. Couture Beauty sells makeup that comes in bejeweled cases and have sold the world's most expensive mascara and lipstick for $14 million. A customer requested a blue, white and pink diamond version -- made in solid 18-karat gold -- of the company's Swarovski crystal and gold-plated lipstick and mascara set. The mascara casing will have 2,500 blue diamonds and the lipstick casing will have 1,200 pink diamonds.

Their mascara generally retails for $589 and the lip color retails for $150. The high-priced makeup include concierge service, 24/7 customer service and complimentary lip and lash refills for a year. There is also a lip plumper for $348 which comes with one free refill and lip liner for $120, which also comes with one full product refill.

this is not only immoral, it is selfish. why couldn't this millionaire spend 14 million on the worlds starving or homeless,those who need basic care? because they don't know that you can't take earthly items to heaven. shame on whoever they are. and by the way, bravo to the one billionaire who gave all his money to those in need in our world.GOD BLESS HIM.

Ok. Now......let me get this straight. diamond encrusted makeup cases. novel idea. I wish I would have thought of it. I would gladly take a womans money if she's that stupid to spend it on something like that. Now, maybe they are bored with looking at "plain jane" make up tubes.......that's ok. Its their money, they can spend it how they see fit. it's the fact that ppl that buy things like that, have never been in a "real" persons shoes before. they will never understand the importance of helping your fellow man. So if someone has figured out a way to part a fool from their money...go for it. (only if they are very stinkin wealthy)

I barely have enough supplies for my students and they are spending millions on mascara and lipstick. It is wonderful for them, but they could help so many people in so many places with one fewer cosmetic purchase. I am not bitter, but it makes me so angry to see such horribly irresponsible priorities.

What a waste, who wants to have to try to keep up with a 14 million dollar lipstick and mascara case. When you only spend a couple of bucks for them, who cares where they are. But when you spend $14 million you have to hire someone to guard it. Next time spend $30.00 for the two and send the rest to me.

wow!!!! that is just screwballish!!!! any profit they make they should at least give some of it to the poor. i have money and do give to the poor but i would never buy something like that. i just wouldnt feel right about it. i love to find bagains and that's no bargain!!!!

To whom it may concern, we are just barely makeing it with the utility's being tripled and quadupled in the name of cost adjustment, it takes half of what we live on, witch is $700.00 a month,we could use some of this MONEY,it IS nice to have SO MUCH,although the world is definantally devideing up between the HAVES,verses the HAVE-NOTS,SOOOooo what else is new!!!The more THINGS change,the more THEY stay the SAME!!! Personally I find takeing care of my 85 year-old MOTHER far MORE rewarding ! ! !

Truth always rules out idiot ideas. The truth is in the cosmetic industry in NYC,all makers of lipsticks pull from the same vat. In high school out DECA(distributed Education In Marketing) visited a factory there. Wet'N Wild for $1.99-$2.49 pulls from the same vat as Clinique and so on. They name some and some have number like B206. Elizabeth Arden has a skincare system called Skin Simple. It runs for $3.99-$12.99 in retail outlets like Marshalls and TJMAXX. The same product is at the counter in the department store at MACY'S for triple the price. Beauty is costly but, education......Priceless!

I lived in my car for a few months while I was pregnant. It was winter, I was freezing, and got a pnumonia. Even a few hundred bucks could have been all i needed to get a room at a cheap(warm,dry)hotel. How can some people be so ridiculous?

All people of great wealth give millions or billions to the many charities, the needed and etc;, If they didnt the goverment would take it all! If a billionare has been generous to others , then why not do something foolish with a few million , actually its an investment in diamonds and will hold a good value.So if you got it use it for what ever you desire. I know it hard for most of us to understand the wealthy mind and how it works , but for many it is very different in the way things are processed . Thank you
