The World's Most Expensive Lipstick and Mascara

We've seen some crazy diamond-studded ideas before but this may be the most ridiculous or the most fabulous depending on your viewpoint. H. Couture Beauty sells makeup that comes in bejeweled cases and have sold the world's most expensive mascara and lipstick for $14 million. A customer requested a blue, white and pink diamond version -- made in solid 18-karat gold -- of the company's Swarovski crystal and gold-plated lipstick and mascara set. The mascara casing will have 2,500 blue diamonds and the lipstick casing will have 1,200 pink diamonds.

Their mascara generally retails for $589 and the lip color retails for $150. The high-priced makeup include concierge service, 24/7 customer service and complimentary lip and lash refills for a year. There is also a lip plumper for $348 which comes with one free refill and lip liner for $120, which also comes with one full product refill.

That is WAY beyond rediculous. Spending $14 million on mascara and lipstick!? Heck, with $14 you can give homes to many homeless families, put thousands poor students through college (room and board included), help the starving, etc. and still (possibly) have money left over! Even if I had money to burn like that woman, I wouldn't use it on THAT! Besides, who cares about how your make up is packaged and who's gonna take time to notice it? I only care about it how it looks on my face!

alot of comments here show that people just cant believe how greedy the human race is...unless your a monk..but then monks dont even kill things that can kill them. anyway, the point of this is simple...while there are stupid people buying, there are smart people making...welcome to the way of the world. granted 14mill could be used on good things for people, theres bigger spenders out there using money to kill people...like the president...(who should fall and break his neck) but as long as there are rich idiots out there buying this crap...then people looking to line their pockets are going to buy it
