NYLO Hotels

NYLO Hotels is another hotel that plans to bring the loft concept to hotels but at a cheaper price point. The first NYLO hotel will debut in Plano, Texas with a second one planned for Warwick, Rhode Island. The hotels offer allergen-resistant guestrooms and the Pure Floor, which will have guest rooms which have gone through a comprehensive purification system. The Pure System cuts down on contaminants, irritants, molds, dust and odors. Following a seven-step purification process, each NYLO Pure Room will use a Class 2 medical-grade air purifier and hypoallergenic linens and covers. There is also no smoking excited in designated outdoor areas and the fee for smoking in a guestroom is $300.

The lofts have oversized windows, exposed-brick-and-polished-concrete walls, and a flexible workspace with a large movable desk. Room also each have a large flat-screen television, free wired and wireless high-speed Internet access, MP3 capabilities, and convenient plug-ins linking iPods and computers to televisions. The hotel even has a TV tie-in offering consumers the Daniel Vosovic Collection for NYLO. Vosovic was part of Project Runway, Season 2 and is designed outfits for front-line staff, including bartenders, cashiers and front-desk personnel. Rates at the hotel will range from $120 to $140 and the CEO describes it as being the IKEA or jetBlue for the hotel industry.
