Peter Beard Limited Art Edition Book
Peter Beard is an artist and photographer who became famous during the 1960s for his work in Africa, where he "photographed and documented the demise of over 35,000 elephants" before working on several art installations, participating in fashion photography and collaborating on projects with Andy Warhol, Andrew Wyeth, Richard Lindner, Terry Southern, Truman Capote, and Francis Bacon. The Peter Beard Limited Art Edition Book is a collection of 200 pages of diaries and 300 pages of photo collages by Beard, and is accompanied by a volume with indexes and caption for all the images, as well as an interview with Beard and a good deal of biographical information. It is part of a limited edition of 2,250, each one signed by Beard and a wonderful piece for fans of the artist to add to their collection. Price: $1,900.
