Andre Agassi's Home, Estate of the Day

Tennis star Andre Agassi's gorgeous Tiburon, California estate is on sale. The home overlooks the San Francisco Bay and sits on over three acres of land with views to the city in the distance. The compound was built in the late 1970s but has been though a beautiful remodel. The 11-bedroom home has a large master suite wing, a solarium, music room, theater and guest wing. Outside there are two pools, three spas, a waterfall, steam room, an outdoor fireplace and of course, tennis courts. There is also a four-bedroom staff house on the property. The home is listed at $21 million. After, the jump, advantage Agassi.

I remember living in Sausalito 35 years ago and looking across at the narrow strip of water at this beautiful estate. As one person commented, 3 acres on Tiburon will always be a huge value, but for what they paid ($20+ mill or so after looking at a year earlier at $7 mill or some such?) - it may have to be cut and run time. All in the timing.
Anyhow, good luck to Andre who has done so much for tennis, and let us not forget Fraulein Forehand.
The kids will probably be Formula One racers.

They need a new stager!

I'm the regional manager of a compsny that owns trailer parks in California and Arizona and let me tell ya most of our mobile home owners have better decorated places than Andre's. I mean come one, it looks like a furniture showroom from the 70s. Ha, who decorated the place Andre's mamma? If it was his wife Steffi that did it I'd like to give her a decorating tip if ya catch my drift...rarrrr!

I'll bet the lighting bill alone for the year comes to my salary! Did you see all the recessed lighting fixtures? But if you're willing to fork over $21mil, energy bills are not a pivotal factor in buying a house. And, yes, I agree with one of the previous comments, the house does look "staged", but if it helps to sell, go ahead and do it. Well, good luck and good health to Agassi - he knew his calling as a young man, made his fortune and good decisions about his future and now can raise his family in comfort.

Quite frankly I love the home as it is. It has character and the furnishing are awesome. Now mind you I would have all new electronics throuoghout it but everything else would stay as is. If I have that kind of cash on hand I would buy it in a heartbeat. Yeah it may be outdated but those outdated items are still holding their value. But for 21 million, they would have to have the tennis courts removed and large garages built for my car collections.

Ok now it doesn't take rocket science to figure out that's Andre himself on the screen. DOH!

What I don't get is why people think just because many people posting here don't like the house or it's furnishings we are green with envy? Those replies are kind of childish saying we are jealous. Sort of what a mamma tells an ugly kid why others make fun of him, that they are jealous so the ugly thing don't feel bad. The decorating at Andre's house stinks and looks like something out of the 1970s, plain and simple. No jealousy here. And what's with the person who claimed she always followed Andre's career but then didn't recognize him on the screen? Besides, of course his pic would be the one on the screen in a promo shot for his house not some talk show freak, that would be like Andre was endorsing the loser. Some of the tards that post here gotta be joking.

I hope they get their money. It only makes the property in that area more valuable. I don't think, most people, in the United States understand the selling oh high dollar real estate. One year you might have to lower the price by a third but the next year you might double your money. You never know in this crazy state. It still amazes me what a million does not buy here. Personally, I would tear the house down, subdivide the three acres, hopefully into quarter acres and ask 3 million each.

This is Andre's second home. His primary residence is still in Las Vegas, and Steffi has a second home in Miami. They really don't need this house anymore. Seems like a fine place, wish I could live there. Tiburon is a nice community.

Lovely home. Lovely view. Decorating...awful! Clear out the house, and start over. I sell real estate for a living and I believe in staging a home. The home was not staged. Show something the potential new homeowner can say, "Wow, this is me, I can see myself and my family living here." Even an empty home would show better. Good luck. Everyone lives somewhere, a sale is in the future!
