No one really appreciates the garage (car hole for all you
Simpsons fans). It's just a dirty concrete floored part of the house that we keep our vehicles in. Sometimes we don't even do that, we stash our crap in the garage and cars outside - and that makes no sense at all. Some of us have showroom floored garages but that's a very small percentage. How would you go about spicing up the first area of your house you see when you get home? Organize all that junk, get yourself one of those nice Snap-On tool chests or something. But that will only go so far. I was introduced to Vault, a startup that seeks to change how we perceive our garages. They manufacture a full line of cabinets to facilitate a garage makeover. They're based in Oregon and use stainless steel throughout the construction of the cabinets. The units can be configured to include space to hang clothes, standard shelves and drawers, or even to hold your cigars. I like it... i hate clutter. It looks like a nice way to organize a garage.

Thank you for noticing. :)

We recently supplied a concrete double garage to a porsche fanatic who kitted out the interior with similar high quality tools and cabinets as above.
I nearly fell on the floor when he told me the fixtures and fittings cost five times that of the building and base put together!!
Considering the building alone cost over £3,000 sterling, that's one serious set of tools ;)

What? I like junk, allows me to relax, and not worry about the cost!

Frank -- can I move into your gargage? It's nicer than my house (and neater)! =) I think one of those units would make a cool island in the right kitchen. The baker in me sees a great marble top going on and awesome storage space for all of those baking gadgets I never know where to store.

Does this company make kitchen cabinets? I'd love them in my home.

Jessica, I don't believe so, but the press packet specifically mentioned that other people have had this same question. I'm under the impression that the people to direct your comment to would be feedback@showroomgarage.com.

Thank you Jean, you are welcome to move in any time. I like the idea for the kitchen, these are beautiful cabinets with lots of room for all the 'tools'.
Because I do all the cooking, I insisted on lots of room for prep, we did a 14' island, six-burner Viking, and an additional sink with disposer.

WOW! I think this stuff would make great office furniture, not (just) garage cabinets.

The cabinets are really neat, I personally wouldn't use them in the kitchen, but then again I wouldn't use kitchen cabinets in the garage either :)
Frank, your garage is gorgeous, love the sheeting on the floor!
