Herman Miller Coconut Chair
The Coconut Chair consists of a soft, leather-upholstered, foam rubber cushion supported by a molded plastic shell. The shell sits atop chrome-plated stainless steel legs. Its shell-like shape cradles the body, allowing you to rest comfortably, though it does not restrict movement in any way. It would go perfectly in a modern, but masculine, study or office where it would give visitors a chance to relax or casual meetings to take place. Price: $3,495.

...UM... UGLY always comes at a price, doesn't it? You can sit on a cardboard box that looks better than that ugly and expensive thing! Coconut chair is just plain NUTS! ~ Kelly

I will agree that the chair is definitely one that appeals to design nuts and not the general public (it is a bit odd looking to me at least but would go well in a 'modern' setting). That said, having sat in one, I can tell you that it is SUPREMELY comfortable.
