Beyonce's Birthday Present

For her 25th birthday, Beyonce Knowles got a very pricey gift from boyfriend Jay-Z. He picked out a 1959 Rolls Royce convertible with an estimated value of $1 million dollars, though the full amount he paid for the car will probably be known only to him and the dealer.

Even with a steep price tag, the gift doesn't quite measure up to the $5.4 million necklace Mariah Carey got from her prince, but it's safe to say that Beyonce could have done a lot worse than this car.

I honestly cant stand the hypercritical chick she talks out of both sides of her face, now her and jay wont last he is a cat from the streets and she is a "good christian" girl from houston, He is her first and you know those kind of chicks are el poyo locol for a man. listen to the songs Ring the Alarm = Rhianna is not gonna get her man Unfaithful - Beyonce Jay has something to tell you. Im just waiting for her to get old and look like a over the hill pig like her mother and then we will see how bootylicious she is and I do believe she had an abortion and wasnt she with mosdef before jay im not hating I just dont like the contradicting chick

It's nice that JayZ can afford to give his girl the nice things in life. But I am so tired of seeing her BUTT, I can't watch her perform anymore. She is such a bad example for young girls. It's bad enough that all of the rappers are exploiting the young ladies in their videos and calling them bad names, Beyounce validates the situation. She doesn't believe in her talents enough to just sing and give a classy performance. My 13 year old daughter and my 15 year old son always say they love to hear her sing on the radio where they don't have to see her shaking and doing the same moves all the time. It is time to stop, the shaking and %@???? has gotten very old. Please, you can't be comfortable dancing like that in front of your father. He looks like a class act, but I am so disturb by a man who promotes this mess especially when it's his own child. There is a problem here, can anybody out there see this. Mom(Mrs. Knowles) are you so money hungry that you allow her daughter, whom you seem to love so much, to continue this nonsense. She can sing, why do you feel you have to go to such extremes to sale your music. I'm really disappointed.

What a gorgeous car!!! I would be very happy with it as a gift. And yes, I would drive it around the block irregardless of it's price tag. That classic needs to be nutured AND experienced! Good for him and good for her and anyone else that has a car like that. Yummy!!!

I think it's the thought that counts, not the price tag. I'm sure she would have enjoyed something that was maybe half a mill. but really will we ever see her drive it? NO! It's just for MTV cribs. "Hi I'm Beyonce and this is my Million dollar car that my baby bought me, that no one else has!" It's all about stunting, setting the bar higher! Sure people are starving, homeless and poor but who cares the rich get richer!

I think it is rediculous. His talent is way over-rated. As a businessman he has a great deal of smarts and has had a great deal of success because of it...as for his talent as an artist/musician he stinks! He should have made a 1 million dollar donation in her name (katrina victims-she is from the south or another worthy charity) and actually gave back to the community.They both have more money and more toys than any person really needs and to give back is a true class act!It just kills me to see any celebrity(who by the way get most stuff free-(hotel stays,expensive gift packs,dinners etc...wherever they go they are given free stuff just because they are a celebrity)Why more of the celebritys who have more money than God,do not give back is beyond me,it just seems so unbalanced. Some have nothing and some have way to much and then the ones in the middle are always the ones trying to help the have nots! anyway...marry her for Gods sake and next time you want a great gift-make a donation and make her and lots of others happy!

Well, I think it was a big gift, but to her it may have been equievelent to a bedroom makeover or a $2,000 dollar diamond ring to the regular Joe's and Jane's like us. I am pretty sure she didn't jump at the pass out over the price tag she probably passed out at the model of the vehicle. It is beautiful.
Now, Jay-Z, if in the future you get the urge to put that much in a car period, try to find me and I can help you take some of that money off of your hands. I could really use it. I am serious! I live in a small town in Tarboro. There are not too many Sabrina's here and everyone knows me. By the way, I am married so Beyonce you don't have to worry about me taking your man. Guess what, people tell me that I have a Beyonce ass and that I am just as pretty as you are, so girl thumbs up too ya. Hope you two will marry when you are ready to commit forever. You can live happily ever after. When you see a good thing hold on to it.
People please don't criticize either one of them. They will be just fine. Those of you who disagree with his gift think about the number of times you have shopped for a gift for someone and you chose it yourself. Could anyone just walk up to you and say, hey that cost too much for yourhusband or wife

Jay-Z, I am a white poor man due to a crash in Nov. of 05. Not a damn cent, cannot get government help or other assistance. I was a naive American thinking " My Government will look after me if I get in bad trouble"...My ass!

Now, if B was smart (or wanted to make great P.R.points) she'd offer the car up for auction. The proceeds could go to help the red cross, or katrina victims. C'mon B , you need a swank ride like..Dolly Parton needs breast implants.
