Dom P�rignon Champagne Bucket

The limited edition bottles of Dom Pérignon by Marc Newson are not exactly made for drinking. The neo-green sculptures are actually champagne buckets that are styled after the bottles that they are designed to hold, complete with a silver label in the iconic Dom Pérignon style adorning each one. Reminiscent of nesting dolls, each piece holds a Dom Pérignon Magnum and stands 27-inches tall. Price: €1,000

Why the f*ck is this plastic cooler a thousand Euros? Who cares who designed it, it's plastic! Not fit for my Dom, certainly. I'd much rather look at the actual bottle. This thing belongs in Target. And that's not to slam Target, I think this thing would fit well with lots of other things they sell which are well-designed, but made with inexpensive materials. It's not a fit for Dom Perignon, though.
