One common complaint about electric cars is that they are a bit pokey. You won't find that problem with the new electric car being sold by Hammacher Schlemmer. It does the zero-to-60 hop in four seconds and zips up to a top speed of 120 mph in one gear. The car has two electric motors that work together The car is just 39" wide and the driver and passenger sit in tandem front and back seats. It can park perpendicular to a curb without the need for a full space. The zippy little machine operates from a set of lead-acid batteries that can recharge using any service up to 50 amps, providing enough power for a range of 40-80 miles.
It sells for $108,000, a hell of a price for something smaller than a Smart Car.

This is way overpriced when you compare it to the Tesla, priced at $100,000. Better range, performance, style, etc.:

I wonder what kind of side impact crash rating this "car" got. And who in their right mind would pay $108,000 for that piece of shit!?
It would be cheaper to get a regular car and have it converted to electric.
Also www.HybridTechnologies.com makes electric cars, and convert PT cruisers, crossfires, and smart cars to electric.

It looks like a geo metro that got caught between two Hummer H2's playing chicken.
