Smiley Perfume by Ora-ito
Smiley perfume by Ora-ito didn't get its name because of the bright yellow smiley face on the side of the bottle. It is a liquid "happiness factor" that is supposed to put a smile on your face and boost your energy level. No, no drugs are involved, but if the fruit-scented perfume really functions as an antidepressant, just think of how much people will save on therapy bills. Price: €39 ($50) for 50ml.

This sounds too good to be true. Two questions: does the product smell pretty, is it addictive?
Mar Aldred Sep 5th 2006 11:25AM

I have a mean-ass cat that claws me every time I look at him. Can I get some of this and squirt a little on him so he will be a nicely behaved pussy cat??? Of course I will use it too.. but I am usually pleasant... except when my BF yells at me, or the cat claws me, or the price of gas goes up, or I drop my icecream cone.....

This sounds so great, but did any of you think that some people may be asthmatic or have allergies?? It is some of you that cause problems in the work place w/ all of your spraying. Spray yourself and leave the rest of us alone. If we want this fragrance, we will buy it. Perhaps it is what you are wearing that is making us unhappy. Certain fragrances give people headaches. And of course, if we were all smiling, people would think we were up to no good.

Itoo, would like to try a free sample of the perfume, and if it works, i know a few more that would need it ....

Oh, for goodness sake. Just buy a bottle of quality essential oil such as Bergamot or Sweet Orange and sniff away. Fraction of the price. And you can make your own perfume with the "quality" essential oils.

I ordered some this week. If you want you can order it from this website: http://www.happytherapy.com/ Otherwies you can not get it in the US anywhere! It's only available in a few countries. :) Will post again after I get it. :)

THIS IS IT !!! Do you get a discount if you order it in gallon containers?
There must be a way to filter it through the heating and cooling ducts. If we get subliminal messages to buy, buy, buy through music played in stores (as I've heard)why not encourage smiles, okay? I want to hear from someone after they have actually tried it, please share comments, please...
Idith Sep 17th 2006 8:40AM
I would try it! Sounds cool... and the container is fun too.

It's real. I discovered it during a trip to Paris. I was at Sephora, and I said to myself "this can't possibly be true." I'm from the U.S., so the fact that something was on sale and that these claims were made was unbelieveable. I tried it on and left the store. .. didn't like the smell much ... then, WOW! You might not want to spray this on your co-workers.
For me, it was euphoric. Absolutely amazing. I've been using it once or twice a day -- after the first time the effect is a "little" less ... probably because my brain knows it now. I'll definitely buy more when I need it -- I got the lotion and eau de toilette. I might have to go back to Paris for it if I can't get it by mail. It is very uplifting, but the effect for me is really nothing like the antidepressants I know. It's more like an herbal remedy -- a little bit like verveine or valerian but better. It's not an allopathic drug. I've been under incredible stress since I started using it (I got robbed leaving France.) and I'm still relatively calm.
