Cloud X, a 123-foot yacht which has been used as a ferry, is now up for bid on eBay. The owner John Martin is hoping that the Cloud X will break eBay's record for the biggest sale.
Opening bids start at $ 5 million and the
Rockford Register Star reports that the current eBay record is $4.9 million for a business jet in 2001. The
twin-hull Cloud X was used as a ferry from West Palm Beach to Freeport, Bahamas and is now docked in Fort Pierce, Fla. The yacht could also be refitted as a cruising yacht or as an oil right crew boat.
