Get Yourself A Xubaz, A Luxist Giveaway
I was traveling a few weeks ago and trying to only have one carry-on and so I did not bring a purse only a laptop bag. Unfortunately I did not want to lug my laptop bag around all week so I took my wallet out. Long story short, I left my wallet in one location and didn't realize it until I was hours away and had to beg a friend to drive me back. I could have used a Xubaz. What's a Xubaz? Basically it is looks like a scarf but it also has places for your wallet, iPod, lipstick, keys and boarding pass. There are also a couple of clips that you can attach to your belt or outfit so that when you bend over to deal with your luggage your Xubaz doesn't go flopping all over the place. The Xubaz can be easily rolled up and stashed went not in use.Bernt Kuhlmann, the developer of the Xubaz, was kind enough to offer me a whole bunch of Xubaz to give away to a few of our jetsetting Luxist readers. You can win your own Xubaz, (a $60 to $80 value depending on the model) by leaving a comment about where you would wear your own Xubaz down below.

This is a great accessory for popping out to the beach or to a club. Also, you could easily pawn it onto your guy and he could even tuck it under his jacket, so that he doesn't have to watch your clutch or purse. A purse is great to have but the guys never want to hold onto it.
This would be more discrete and would transition better from setting to setting versus purses which have to be more specific to your outfit and where you are going.

Although I would love one for myself (I live in Switzerland, travel around quite a bit, and truly hate lugging around a purse or backpack) I would instead love to win this for my mom. She is forever losing her glasses, pens, mini-notebooks and keys. In fact, if it can fit her wallet I may convince her to give up the 'granny bags' for good! I think that's a just and worthy cause don't you? More hip MidWestern moms? Catchy slogan ;)

What a great thing! I would love to have one of these, I'd wear it everywhere. If they came in black, I could wear it backstage when I volunteer at the Little Theater, or on stage when singing with the Symphony Chorus.
I'm one of those people who has to have a chapstick with me at all times, and I'm always leaving my sunglasses beind. The office at my day job is always cold, so a scarf-like garment would be a big help as well, no matter what the color. Best of luck to the designer, I'm going to tell my friends and family this is what I want for Christmas!

What a fabulous idea! I work for a television network, and I definitely could use an ingenious item like a Xubaz for my travels to stash my keys, tickets, ipod and passport to free up my hands for the recording decks and extra microphones I'm always lugging around the airport. Even on a daily basis, a Xubaz would provide an excellent place for me to stash press credentials, production notes and a small roll of gaffer's tape. A Xubaz sounds like a godsend.... where can I buy one??

I love pockets! And I love things that hold other things, so this product is utterly irresistible! It will serve as so many things at once, the mind boggles. I travel extensively for work, and can just imagine using every pocket for items I don't want to chuck in a handbag. Also, if the pockets are strategically placed, they might serve as bonus hand-warmers!

As a professional wine geek, a Xubaz is just the thing for me. Pockets for a corkscrew, notebooks, my tasting-notes PDA, lots of pens, and Hugh Johnson's POCKET Wine Encyclopedia so I can look up obscure wine terms when I'm stumped. Better yet, it appears to be just the color of a well-aged Sauternes.

I'm a grandmother and a flight attendant who flies international. This would be *very* versatile and utilitarian for me. I could use it for grandchildren outings, plus I would love it in cities like Amsterdam where pickpockets are rampant and they slash your purses. I could have everything important hanging in front. I really need this!!! :)

I would wear my Xubaz anywhere, whether or not I had anything in it cause I love scarves and it is getting to be that time in minnesota. mostly though, it would accompany me to class carrying my ipod, keys, smokes, lighter and cellphone.
