Ellen Barkin is leaving her trophy wife phase and you can reap the benefits. Barkin, who divorced Revlon owner Ron Perelman earlier this year, is selling off her impressive collection of jewels. More than 100 pieces from her collection will be sold at auction by Christie's on October 10 in New York. Barkin's collection is so noteworthy she gets a whole sale to herself. The traditional fall Christie's Magnificent Jewels auction will be held on October 11. Barkin's collection includes many vintage pieces owned by Doris Duke and the Duchess of Windsor as well as a much-coveted group of pieces created by legendary jeweler JAR (Joel Arthur Rosenthal). The collection is worth more than $10 million and was collected during Barkin's five year marriage. The piece shown here is a gold, emerald and diamond cuff created by Van Cleef & Arpels.[via WWD]

THIS ARTICLE CAUGHT MY EYE BECAUSE IT STATES SHE IS LEAVING HER TROPHY WIFE PHASE. I HAVE ALWAYS FOUND HER TO BE QUITE A SEXY WOMAN. I REMEMBER ONE OF MY BOYFRIENDS DESCRIBING HER AS ONE HOT X%#&*#!. TO BE HONEST I COULDN'T AGREE MORE. I HOPE SHE IS HAPPY. IF NOT TELL HER TO CALL ME. IM A FUSTRATED HOUSEWIFE WITH NOTHING TO AUCTION AND DESIRE NOTHING BUT THE WISDOM OF SOMEONE WHO OBVIOUSLY HAS HAD AN AWAKENING OF SOME SORT. I WISH HER THE BEST!
