But, they are useless. I still don't think it will make a guy wear a ring.
My husband wears his band, and most of his married friends wear theirs.
And, I do know that there are guys that refuse to wear them. I was told several times that most guys don't wear a band because it gets in the way.
Also, most places of employment prefer that you don't wear a ring for safety.
Then of course there are those guys that refuse to wear a ring b/c they cannot get over the "commitment" issue and the ring is a symbol of their life being over.
I say if they wear one good for them.
But, if they are committed 99.9% to their spouse who cares if they have one or not..I hardly think I that a tire ring is going to change a mans way of thinking on wearing them . Does it really matter how the ring looks? I'm sure most people know by now and at a good price you can personalize ring designs if one doesn't want the plain ring band. I think thoes tire ones will make a lovely add to alot of wedding ring choices. These rings are no different than the celtic ring patterns and etc etc... They are not really all that manly.. just cute, neat, novel. Something that will make a manly ring manly has nothing to do with what is on the ring. As mentioned earlier by Lynn they sometimes have a tendency to be in the way. Then they get chipped, bent, scratched or broken. Then you are just pissed off. A manly ring needs to be durable, un-bendable, scratch resistant, and basically the hardest substance known to man. That sounds manly to me... not some cool design. The design is relatively minor.

The manly ring category was filled quite effectly with the titanium band rings. I have seen several guys with them and they are very happy with them. It's a guys ring. All they talked about was its strength (scoring and punching breaks with it and it not even having a scratch on it... manly stuff). Very little was said about it's looks. Just that it had a relatively nice design. Then we put ouf jockstraps back on and did more manly stuff.

Elexsor

Comments on The Tire Ring

If you ever seen a mans wedding ring turn white hot while he was working on changing a battery in a truck you would know at least one reason men dont like rings.
Getting it hung up on some sheet metal or a tool can render a man with no finger at all and the list goes on!

Thomas Craig

Comments on The Tire Ring

Next they'll come out with the Redneck Nascar version. He is an electrician and worked for 35 years at a factory repairing and maintaining all the machinery and never had a problem with his ring getting in the way or risking losing his finger. All my male friends, relatives, and co-workers who are married also wear rings so I don't agree with the comment that "most married men don't wear rings".

John

Comments on The Tire Ring

HMMMM. Very interesting comments!! I for one, would wear a band if I
were married and I,m in the bussiness of possibly losing a digit
because of it. Ya think
contractors would wear them? lmao

The Germ
