I think the most expensive shot I have ever consumed was 125 dollars a shot. Louis 13th. cognac. i did not pay for it which made it taste even better. Johnny blue another pricey shot. good scotch. the wray and nephew rum is good quality. http://celebrity-dirt.blogspot.com

mike

Comments on The Merchant Hotel's Pricey Cocktail

...and we care because we wish we could be rich and so very self indulgent?

GoldrushLin

Comments on The Merchant Hotel's Pricey Cocktail

I'd much rather have 705 $2 mai tais.

jordy

Comments on The Merchant Hotel's Pricey Cocktail

All this does is prove how ignorant and wasteful some people really are. Regardless of how expensive the rum is, the people that bought the Mai Tai couldn't even
TASTE the rum. It could've been any kind of rum. When you mix a liquor in with juice or other mix it really makes little difference on the actual taste or caliber of the liquor as it mostly tastes like the mixer. People are such fools. I used to always get a crack up when people would come in and order an absolute or stoli screw driver. What is the point to paying for something you can't even taste? I guess it makes them feel more important.

inkling

Comments on The Merchant Hotel's Pricey Cocktail

I would have been more impressed if they donated that money to charity. The point is to BE self indulgent! Haven't we all gone out and spent money on something we wanted but didn't need just to be wasteful?
