The Chester

Established and Sons is a new design company led by Alasdhair Willis, founding publisher of Wallpaper magazine and husband of Stella McCartney. The company features a variety of up and coming British designers as well as known favorites. The piece shown here is one of their limited editions. The Chester is a play on the old-fashioned Chesterfield sofa and is designed by Amanda Levete of Future Systems. It comes in a limited edition of 12.

Proportion Proportion Proportion. They have forgotten the first rule in furniture making and the second of comfort has alsoappears to have been forgotten. Updated classic look is great but this is not it. Too Bad!
