XXX Tequila
Another premium Reposado tequila has hit the market. XXX Tequila is a premium tequila that has been available in Gold and Silver Tequilas for a few years. The XXX logo with a flaming winged heart is designed to appeal to the younger crowd and the website features pictures of tequila "babes." Now they seem to be going after more serious drinkers with their 100% Blue Agave Reposado Tequila, The Reposado is more of a sipper than a mixer and i aged for nine months in white oak barrels. XXX Tequila was recently anointed by Time magazine as a "hot brand" and has received awards from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.[via The Moodie Report]

This brand is very popular at the clubs here in Bangkok.
I try to guage all the 'common' tequilas against Patron, as that is what I consider the benchmark in the mass-produced category.
The XXX silver is not nearly as good as Patron silver. I will try their Reposado if I see it around but I wont expect anything mindblowing from any brand called 'XXX'.
