Need a good place to hold a party in London? How about 30 St. Mary Axe, otherwise known as the Gherkin? The restaurant and lounge bar can hold from 120 to 260 guests for a cocktail reception and the hiring fee is £9,000 + vat. There are also private dining rooms with city views. Exclusive dining memberships are also available.

If they actually opened the top restaurant to the general public, they would make making a mint. Management at St. Mary Axe is really dropping the ball.
