From the NY Post's Gimme Shelter:
--Gwyneth Paltrow is buying a summer home in Amagansett.
--Ad guy Donny Deutsch has been spotted shopping for homes in Southampton and has checked out the $35-million home that Howard Stern is renting this summer.
--An Upper East Side townhouse that was listed at $32 millionis selling for $29 million.
--Rick Hilton, who is behind HIlton and Hyland is selling the last of the homes at Brentwood Estates for $29.5 million. It's our estate of the day.
--Greg Gumbel has sold his one-bedroom New York apartment for $650,000. He bought it way back in 1989 for around $235,000.
--The Villas at Old Town Pond are six new condo units in the Hamptons tucked in two early-1900s buildings. They are priced from a little over $2 million to $4.3 million The listing is here.
--A pricey condo at 515 Park Avenue is back on the block for $10.995 million. The apartment takes up the entire 9th floor and has four bedrooms. The listing is here.

From the NY Times Big Deal:
--Donaly Bryant, a businessman has bought a three bedroom duplex that was listed for $10.5 million. He is planning to move to New York after his youngest child graduates from high school and the lower level of the apartment will be used to display his impressive art collection.
--Roy Zuckerberg, a former vice chairman of Goldman Sachs, bought a co-op apartment which was listed last year for $16 million.
--Stephanie Schwartz Ferdman and her husband, Michael B. Ferdman, of Firstborn Multimedia, an Internet services company bought a duplex apartment at the Beresford. The paortment was listed at $10 million.

From the LA Times Hot Property:
--Comedian Carol Leifer and her partner, Lori Wolf, have moved from the Hollywood Hills to a larger home in the Santa Monica Mountains that they purchased for close to $3.2 million. They are keeping the other house, a 2,600-square-foot contemporary but have sold another home a smaller house 100 yards from her Hollywood Hills home.
--Sharon Stone is selling the house she bought in April for just under $11 million for a listing price of $12.5 million. Stone never moved into this home, it was an impulse buy since she has another home in the area. The listing is here.
--Lionsgate, shown above, is a gorgeous French Normandy-style mansion in Bel-Air that is being sold for $29.75 million. The home classic old Hollywood home belongs to Nancy Davis, daughter of oil billionaire Marvin Davis. The estate was also once owned by Kenny Rogers. The listing is here.
--Ed McMahon is selling his home in a gated Beverly Hills-area community for $7.699 million. The Mediterranean-style home has six bedroom, a pool, spa, lanai, library, sauna, sound studio and canyon-to-ocean views. The listing is here.
--Another teen home buyer. This time it's Hunter Parrish, who plays Mary-Louise Parker's son on"Weeds." He bought a two-bedroom,condo in the Hollywood Hills for $569,000 a few days after his 19th birthday.
