Hummer Perfume from Elizabeth Arden
Recently, Elizabeth Arden bought the rights to the Hummer scent. And we're not talking about the scent of gasoline and motor oil, but instead to the name and a scent that is inspired by the very idea of the luxury brand. Elizabeth Arden intends to release an eau de toilette and a deodorant, both with the Hummer name, across Europe and in China later this year. The perfume will have the "unmistakably seductive scents of tonka bean and patchouli," while the deodorant will feature "exotic spices such as cardamom and amber for a truly masculine adrenaline rush that can only be called Hummer." After a disappointing year of sales in the US, the company does not seem like it intends to release the new fragrances there.

Ahhhh, yes, the unmistakable scent of melting ice caps, rising sea levels, catagory 5 hurricaines, tsunamis, drought, forest fires, and the blood of 2500+ soldiers who die so we can continue our utterly ridiculous level of fossil fuel consumption. Too bad the drivers of compact cars have to go down with the ship as well as those who smell like.......well S@

The Hummer owner is a want to be Military person.
A very difficult SUV to handle on the road as I found out and would not want to be behind the wheel when it rear ends a small economy car.
To be a Hummer owner now with the gas prices going up is something like that saying from The Forest Gump Movie " Stupid is as Stupid Does".
So now that's what I hear from alot of poeple on how stupid it is to own one.
As for the scent of a Hummer , there is nothing worst than having one's sinus in pain due to a guy taking a bath in BAD cologne. Alittle after shave is all that is needed by a Real Men's company.

If this scent lasts as long (on the market)as a Hummer will it'll be around for many years! Hummers rule, and so will this perfume!! I sure hope they sell it in the United States.

not only is this dumb but the consumer who will pay top dollar for the item may be even dumber.

To the people who call Hummers gas guzzlers: I own a 2006 Hummer 3, and get 16 mpg city, and 20 mpg highway, so....there!!!!!!! Plus I think that many people making these comments are just jealous, because they can't afford one. Neener neeer neener lol lol

Wow...there are lots of haters. First of all I don't understand how the Hummer has come to symbolize American excess nor the epitomy of gas guzzlers considering it is not the most expensive SUV out there (Range Rover is more) and it didn't even make the list of the 5 highest gas guzzlers. The GMC Denali and the Ford Expedition sure did and America does not criticize them. Get a life and stop hating on those that can afford them!

Who cares what it's called as long as it smells good. They have fragrances named after people and colors like RED which I don't like so I don't buy it.So I don't see what the big deal is.

Guess when I saw hummer perfume I thought of the hummingbirds not the vehicle. What did I know?
HB Jul 25th 2006 5:19AM
Well...its just the name of a perfume to me. whats the big deal? a lot of people have hummers and they will probably buy it just because of that. and why would it smell like gasoline? honestly.

Funny. At least two bloggers have testified to the great smell of this cologne, and claim that their boyfriends are wearing it.
But the deal was just cut last week. There is no cologne yet, and there are no plans to release it in North America.
Kinda sounds like a Hummer mentality. "Oh yes. I have that already. It's really cool"
