Brangelina's Retro Fantasy House for Sale

While Brad and Angelina don't own (and to my knowledge never have) this beautiful 1957 Rancho Mirage property, it was the site of a memorable photo shoot featured in W magazine shortly after the pair got together. The glam, retro shoot had a perfect backdrop in the Kenaston Residence, which is a landmark residence designed by architect E. Stewart Williams. It has been completely restored, staying true to its mid-century modernist roots, with natural rock, wood and frosted glass. It has a large swimming pool, partially surrounded by the U-shaped house and lots of floor-to-ceiling windows. All the retro-chic furnishings, including Eames chairs and Nelson lamps, are included.

In terms of details, the house is 5,000-sq. ft. with 4 bedrooms (2 master suites) and 3/5 baths. It is on a 1/2 acre lot with 50 palm trees. The asking price is $2,875,000 and there is a property tax discount due to its landmark status. Lots of photos of the house after the jump.

Brad and Angolina should spend more time here.Was this Home used in making Movies , I think I remember a Frank Sanatra Movie with the pool scene that looks the same 50s style . Wish I could own it!~

WHILE MILLIONS OF PEOPLE ARE FORCLOSING ON THERE HOMES YOU LOOK AT THIS AND YOU WONDER. WE ALL WORK HARD FOR OUR MONEY WE JUST ARE NOT IN THE HEADLINES EVERYDAY WITH OUR REALITY ISSUES LIKE THEY ARE. the house is awful (ugly). back in the 60's or so. not worth 2,000,000.00 that's for sure. even if brad and angelina posed in front of it.

Umm....how bout The Dick Van Dyke show....I can just see Mary Tyler Moore walking around in it....
I dont have anything nasty to say about Angie or Brad but I will say that I dont look up to the fact that Angie pretty much broke up a home and Brad is a cheater in my book. Really not right but hey there are more that have than more that havent. I hope there happy..

I like the house cuz its retro, but I wouldnt buy it just cuz angelina & brad posed in front of it ! In fact i wouldnt buy it cuz AN GE LI NA IS A HOME RECKER IN MY EYES ALSO !! SHAME ON YOU BRAD !!

FIRST OF ALL. They dont have 2 black kids. The house isnt ugly and all you bitter people complaining about money and what not need to get over it. It is what it is. Who cares. It's a house, much better than the shacks I guarantee half of you live in. Go cry a river somewhere else and leave people alone!

If only I had 2.9 million to spare. I would purchase the house. I love the pool and the grounds. I would love to have Brad,Angelina and the kids over.
It seems to me they are a perfect match.They both care for the people. Especially the children of the world. They take interest where it is needed most and make good positive steps to help others.They are not selfish and envious.They get my vote.

I HAVE TO AGREE THIS HOUSE IS SO UGLY, I DIDN'T LIKE THE STYLE WHEN I WAS GROWING UP AND I STILL DON'T YUCKY!! PLUS TOO WHY ARE BRAD AND THE HOME WRECKER WITH TWO WHITE KIDS..?? BRAD IS FROM MY HOME TOWN WENT TO SCHOOL W/MY BROTHER AND LOVED HIM THEN AND HAVE ??? 'S NOW ABOUT HOW HE GOT HISELF INTO THIS MESS. This house is ugly and cold. The chairs alone..ewww. Remember the old waiting rooms in the ER or your school cafeteria? I would keep the palm trees :)
