What the survey really is about is "Uniqueness" and "Exclusivity" rather than quality. The Maybach outsells the Rolls and so you lose the 'exclusivity'.

It seems a rather pointless survey; 'everyone' owns a 911 becase they are great cars, doesn't take away from mine. All in all the English made a nice car until the late 60's. When there economy went in the crapper so did the quality of there cars. Remeber the TR7, or even worse the TR8.

If the Germans hadn't steped in there wouldn't be any English cars left. So be happy that your cars still look English but run German.

But personnally, I still only buy and drive American.
