They stood alone , unmarred by foreign intervention, take overs , or just plain meddling , and other technical additions or parts, that distorted if not ruined the whole image , design, and sleek styling long lost. Its sad to say , just looking at today's Roll's Royce, much like an aluminum box car . Ridiculous.!!

JOHN L WERRILL

Comments on Rolls-Royce, The Car Of Choice

Can I have one?

jamette

Comments on Rolls-Royce, The Car Of Choice

While I love the Bentley, Rolls and Jags, I fell in love with a Vanden Pas Princess as a kid. The joke though is the aged Cessna 310 in the background. This plane was last produced in the early 1980's and would not be worth as much as the auto. They seem to have forgotten that while many old English cars were beautiful to look at. They were undependable, plain and simple. They had all kinds of fun stuff for us yanks to deal with. Lucas electric's. Positive ground, many had Amal Carbs which were nothing short of a nightmare to work on.
