Benjamin Franklin Bust By Sevres

In honor of our nation's birthday this past week, we bring you something to remind you of those fellows who got the idea to found our country in the first place. While tasteful patriotic decor maybe hard to come by, we feel that Sevres, one of the world's most celebrated porcelain factories, did a fantastic job of rendering the likeness of Benjamin Franklin. Actually, the design was made in 1779 by Jean-Antoine Houdon who's work graces the Louvre and the Met. Certainly worthy of a place of honor in your library or study, this bust tastefully recalls those whose writings and work led to the creation of our great country. This bust is available from Moss for $5,400 so forget that whole "penny saved is a penny earned," thing.
