Creme Brulee Tote, Handbag of the Day

Maybe it's because I'm a foodie, but one of the things I love about this bag is the name. The Creme Brulee Tote is a new bag available at anthropologie from Italian designer frassineti. It is exceptionally appealing, made of buttery and supple caramel-colored leather. The hardware is gold-tone and sparkles - to extend the food analogies even further - like unmelted sugar crystals on top of a real creme brulee. The only downside is that now that I've been introduced to this designer, I want to see more. Unfortunately, his/her website is still under construction, so I'll have to content myself with this one piece for now. Price: $468.
