Sunday Real Estate Round-Up

From the NY Post's Gimme Shelter:
--The home belonging to Christopher and Dana Reeve has hit the market. The three-level, 16-room mansion is listed at $2.95 million. The home has seven bedrooms,movie theater, game room and a generator system.  The home was reconfigured after Christopher Reeve's accident. The listing is here.
--Ralph Fiennes is subletting a 1,600-square-foot SoHo apartment for the summer.
--Jeff Gordon has bought in at 15 Central Park West.
--Jacob the Jeweler picked up a home in Queens for  $3.4 million, a week before he was arrested for money laundering. The home is now available for rent for $10,000 a month.
--Wall Street financier Tony Forstmann has sold his waterfront estate in the Hamptons for  $17 million.
--Glenn August, who bought the townhouse mansion that New York Observer publisher Arthur Carter renovated into commercial space will turn the six-story 1899 Stanford White-designed mansion back into a single family residence.
--NFL player Jerome "The Bus" Bettis has been shopping for an apartment  in the Windsor Park development.
--Tommy Mottola has put his North Salem, N.Y., estate on the market for  $21 million. It's a gorgeous home, check it out later as our estate of the day.

From the New York Observer's Manhattan Transfers:
--Reed Krakoff, president of the Coach, has sold his $14.995 million townhouse on East 61st Street
--Connie Milstein has put her apartment at 770 Park Avenue for $20 million. The listing for the apartment, which is located on the 16th and 17th floors, is here.
--Hedge-fund manager Michael Novogratz bought Robert De Niro's Hudson Street triplex for $12.25 million but is staying in a  5,000-square-foot loft in the meatpacking district for $33,000 a month while the home is being rehabbed.

From the LA Times Hot Property:
--In a previous round-up we learned that Ricky Martin had listed his Time Warner Center condo in New York for nearly $10 million. Now we learn that he is selling he's also selling Beverly Hills-area home for close to $18 million.
--David Geffen is selling nearly three acres of beachfront property in the Oahu on the market at $13.5 million for each of three lots or $40 million for all three.  Geffen had planned to build a home there and the architectural drawings come with the land if you want to build Geffen-style. --Andy Bellin, author of the book "Poker Nation," has listed his 5,000-square-foot Sunset Strip-area home for $4.995 million. The home has previously been owned by both Jimmy Cagney and Cheryl Ladd. The listing is here.
--Melissa Sagemiller and Alex Nesic, who both act in the Showtime show "Sleeper Cell," have picked up a Hollywood Hills home for around  $1.1 million. The listing is here.
--Ah to be young and rich, Armie Hammer, the 19-year-old great-grandson of industrialist Armand Hammer, has  bought an $850,000 Westside condo.
