Anyone who has ever had a cat knows that the litter box is a problem. This modern bench, the Kattbank, is designed to conceal the box, repel order and eliminate litter mess by providing a walk-off area for the cat to remove litter.The bench has a venting system that removes odor. The 48" version starts at $1,750 at is available in 14 different colors for both the base and the top (three are also four versions of wood veneer available). Pricey but given the completely dismal design of most litterboxes and the promise that the bench can grace any room of the house without giving its true purpose away it might be worth it.

I can't wait till IKEA (it already has the taylor-made swedish name) picks up the kattbank so I can get one for $200 instead of $2000! Please, "fine european hardware"?? HAEFFELE 3.119

I think this is fantastic! $2000 isn't much for a nice bench - and even better that it solves such a terrific problem.

I saw a great review of kattbank some time back in the NY Post and had to have it. It arrived last week and I am so pleased. This product is not for everyone; however if you have a cat and a nice kept home I would suggest buying one.
