$40 Million on Fifth, Estate of the Day

The listing calls it the "ultimate trophy apartment." Well at $40 million it better be. This Rosario Candela coop on Fifth Avenue has views of Central Park, four bedrooms with ensuite marble baths and an interior design by Alberto Pinto that can only be described as ornate. The nearby Pierre Penthouse* (listed at $70m) is actually nicer...I have been in it and it argueably has the best views in all of Manhattan. I think Brown, Harris & Stevens has the listing, with some great views of the park...

BTW...Are fabric covered walls still being done? Or was this apratment done in the 80's??
