House of Salon has created just 37 vintages in the last century. They are set to announce the release of the 1996 Salon Le Mensil. The wine will officially be released on June 19 and there will be a vertical tasting at the
Food & Wine Magazine Classic in Aspen on June 17. The Salon 1996 is described as a pale yellow wine with hints of green and taste of green apple, fresh citrus and ripe pear. . There are only 600 cases available to the U.S. and each bottle costs $300.

drank it today during a tasting of Salon-Delamotte!
Something great is coming. But wait at least ten years!
Right now it would be a waste of money!
