Bottom line, if you're going to spend a few hundred bucks, get a high quality projector over an expensive "screen". The source of the picture is what will ultimately decide how great the actual picture is. And a suggestion for those of you who live in swim & tennis communities, get all the neighbors to pitch in or tack it onto the annual HOA fees one year in order to include it in the ammenities at the club house or tennis courts. Great community builder and way to keep the kids safe and off the streets on the weekends.

Rachel

Comments on Inflatable Outdoor Home Theater

are the chairs included? The best thing is to paint a wall flat silver. We had tried the bed sheet thing once. It took a lot of hassle to pull it tight. Light passes throught it.

My friend had lent us a small screen to lug around for his uncle's cabin but the picture got's warped over time.

8 ft = 96" is big. Professional sceens are costly. I wish somebody had reviewed this thing as it could very well be worth the money for a number of reasons. But if the screen quality/gain factor degrades as you store it, people will be strapping sheets around it all the while too soon. ;-)

Tomo

Comments on Inflatable Outdoor Home Theater

They want how much for nothing?! It's a fabulous idea in theory, but come on. Try this scenario, you come home after working all day, can't wait to watch your favorite program INSIDE YOUR HOUSE, it's a breezy summer night, you open your windows, get comfy on the couch, Then, BAM!! Your neighbors are watching tv OUTSIDE, blasting their tv's and it's not just one neighbor with this lovely new tv, it's the neighbors to the left, right and behind you. AND they are all watching something different. You close your windows, but now you have to crank up the ac because it's getting stuffy inside your house. The neighbors are competing with each other for sound volume. You still can hear their obnoxious outdoor theatre tv's. Forget about going to sleep because these dolts are watching late night TV. Gee, just like living next door to a drive-in theatre. What fun, NOT!!

Debbie

Comments on Inflatable Outdoor Home Theater

Forget all this stuff, one of our neighbors just puts his projector out the window to a fellow neighbor's side of his house with permission of course.
