Steve Wynn Buys Expensive Vase

Casino mogul Stephen Wynn purchased a rare Ming Dynasty vase for a reported HK$78,500,000 at a Christie's auction on Tuesday, setting the record for the highest price paid for a Chinese ceramic. Wynn is looking to open a casino in Macau, a growing gambling and luxury destination, and will be donating the vase to a Macau museum. I'm not entirely sure I'd pop $10 million on a vase and turn around and give it away, especially with Sheldon Adelson kicking his ass on the billionaires list. But I'm sure Wynn knows better what to do with his money than I do.
