Mariah's $1 Billion Assets

Mariah Carey has recently been chosen as the spokeswoman for Gillette's newest campaign, Legs of a Goddess. It wasn't mentioned how much Gillette is paying the singer for her role with them, but it must be quite a lot, as Carey has just taken out a $1 billion insurance policy on her legs. She isn't the first celebrity to insure a body part, but she is setting a new high standard with the amount of the policy. Other celebs who are putting a price on their legs include Heidi Klum ($1.2 million right leg, $1 million left), Betty Grable ($1 million), Jamie Lee Curtis ($1 million) and Fred Astaire ($75,000).

WHY? She can't dance. She's about as entertaining to watch as a snail. She will probably have sex with the insurance salesman to get the contract...is his name Tommy?

i never noticed her legs until her recent videos in 05 and 06, and i noticed how perfect they are! no wonder she's on the news.. lol.

this sounds like a pr stunt to me. $1 billion is seriously excessive. her gillette deal can't be worth more than a few million.

Mariah's had her ups and downs the last few years...she's gone to hell in a handbasket and back, and now she's better than ever. If she wants to spend her hard earned millions on insurance for her gams, then let her...after all it is HER money and HER legs.
By the way, she looks the best that she's looked in ten years! Go Go MARIAH!!

I saw you on Regis & Kelly this morning. The legs are going to be 16 foot tall, right? Are those the legs that you are insuring for one billion bucks??? I was real happy the see Taylor Hicks on the show also. Was glad he sang and not you because I don't like your kind of music anymore. Hope all the dogs piss on your legs in New York City!!
