Hermes Printed Beach Towels
Hermes can even make a sandy beach luxurious with their plush, terrycloth beach towels, though it doesn't hurt if that beach is on a remote tropical island, either. Featuring rich colors and bold prints, the towels maintain a sense of the fun, carefree look that a beach towel should have. Designs include schools of fish, an ocean liner and swimming sea turtles. It's hard to say which design is the most attractive, so it's probably best to get them all. Use the ship print while on deck during a cruise and save the animal prints for sunbathing. You'll definitely catch the eyes of everyone on the cruise ship! The towels measure 36x60-inches and are priced at $450 each.

$450 is MORE than my monthly rent. If someone gave me $450, I'd be dancing on the streets shouting, "I'm rich!" And I sure as heck wouldn't go out and buy a towel with it. It's a towel, people. I still think the ones in the supermarket are too expensive.

After a YMCA beach party, someone left their Hermes towel in our gear. I tried to find the owner, knowing the price, but no one claimed it, nor did anyone believe me when I told them price! Yeah, it's nice and thick and soft, does a great job of drying one off, but it fades a whole lot faster than a Costco one! I think I'll stay with Costco!

That is a bit much for a towel but thanks to pop culture and the 'it's all about me' mentality these things will sell. Honestly I don't give a crap what kind of towel you have at the beach. I only care that you're not showing your butt crack or back hair! But hey, if Hugh Jackman came with that towel I'd dig through my couch cushions for that $450!!!

$450.00 for a towel w/ a cruise ship picture??? Are you kidding me?? You could feed a small third world country with that kind of money... Ok.. maybe a really really small country... But still $450.00?? Jeez!

You can pick the material up from a fabric store and make your own..very simple and not expensive.

I wasn't going to comment until I read the comments by Paris Hilton. Has she ever thought that if not for her father and the men before him, she would be one the "common people" too? We could all afford 2 of these towels if we were living off daddy's money! Maybe she should get a real job, one like us "common people", and see how many towels she can buy. And I haven't seen anything amazingly beautiful about her body. She is about as skinny as a stick that I would throw to my dog to play fetch.

Only a f***ing idiot would pay $450 for a towel!

I'm sorry. There is no excuse for buying a $450.00 towel. Send the $450.00 dollars to the Katrina Victims relief fund or a charity of your choice. Help someone else. To buy one of these towels is a complete waste of your money and it errs on the selfish side.

you guys dont understand....
obviously you can buy the cheaper ones for 2.99 or 15$ from costco
but if you have the money why not
and "oh well do you know how many starving children that can feed"
the people who buy these things usually have the money to donate more money than you can you make in 5 years in 1 year to charity....

I could easily afford to purchase one of these towells but why would I at that price? I am not cheap, nor dumb!

I must admit it does seem excessive, given that the international poverty is at an all time high. IF and this is a big IF it was going 100% to feed the homeless or something like that I could see those who can afford it coming up with the money and buying one but just to buy one for the heck of it? NUTS! This is vanity to the extreme not to mention if status is truly that important to you, my guess is you can go to any Chinatown in any big city and soak one up, no pun inteded, for about $5-10.00!!
