Canopy Daybed
Outdoor beds are the hot home feature this summer. It's hard to say whether this can simply be attributed to the fact that you could claim to have an extra "bedroom" on your property or to the fact that it's fun, even as a grown-up, to have a camp-out. Of course, a camp-out is going to be a lot more fun when it's done with high style. This luxurious Canopy Daybed, for example, will have you feeling as though you are lounging at an exclusive, tropical day spa rather than in your yard. It is built on a strong metal frame, wrapped in a smooth water hyacinth weave, and has a thick foam mattress with four comfortable pillows. The canopy, supported by removable rattan poles, and the linens are made of machine-washable white cotton. Delivery and unpacking service is included in the price of $1,295.
The only other thing you could want is a large, tropical drink with a pineapple garnish.
And possibly a masseuse.

Nice to see you have designed a rather "exotic" poolside bedding and brought this to the forefront for others to enjoy.
I have enjoyed mine for years, poolside at the gazebo.

So, how do you keep the bugs out of the bed? I guess no one has ants, spiders, or any other wild creature in their yards?
A bed isn't exactly a chair that you can check really quick.
I guess the local hospitals can expect more brown recluse spider bites....
Yeah, luxury!

I think it's because so many of us "boomers" are getting to the age where we need naps in the daytime. Nice to nap in the yard when all the flowers are in bloom and the weather is nice. (If you take your Claritin and replace the bed curtains with elastic-edged mosquito netting)

A bed is a sign of decedence; an admission that you have more money than than brains. But hey, the fun and comments might just be worth it.

Hello! It's a status symbol, and I wish it was in my backyard!

WAY TO GO... with the mosquito netting mentioned above... but make it lightweight so it can be easily picked up and stored, out of the way of rains, hurricanes, etc.

These outdoor beds are great. Recently returned from a stay at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. These beds were a common site around the pool areas...and, always fully occupied.

Who the heck would want to drag this under cover all the time when it rains ect. I mean, I can't imagine that it would be very nice after being rained on a couple of times and then sitting in the heat! Mold heaven! eeeewwww!

Hi. My husband is in process of building a sleeping porch near our pool. Last summer in Cancun we toured a time-share--very posh, very expensive, with the coolest loungers around the pool. They were at least one and a half single beds in width. These would make a perfect bed for our sleeping porch, but I have no idea how to find out what they were or where they were purchased. The price would also enter into it. I hope this message goes out and someone can e-mail me with information on an AFFORDABLE bed for a sleeping porch. Thank you!!!
