This is the former home of Michael "Mickey" Segal, the insurance executive now serving time for fraud and racketeering charges. [See http://www.insurancejournal.com/magazines/midwest/2004/01/12/coverstory/35648.htm ]The property, now under the control of the Feds, is unique on Chicago's North Shore -- certainly the largest intact parcel located directly on the lakefront, and is most significant for the Jensen landscape than for the oft-remodeled manor house.
