Yesterday's Wall Street Journal
(subscription) mentioned in passing that Donald Trump is thinking about going into the furniture business. Word
has it that he is in talks, and "near to a deal," with a major department store that will carry his name on a
line of furnishings that includes everything from tables and chairs to office furniture. Trump's spokesperson would not
name the store yet. Will it be Barneys, Saks or Sears?
