Did Jessica and Ashlee Turn Down Coq au Vin for Pizza Hut?

It sounds like a publicity stunt but gossip newsletter Popbitch is reporting that when Jessica and Ashlee Simpson were recently in Australia they weren't too thrilled with the local cuisine. They went for dinner at the lovely Glass Brasserie in the Hilton where they were staying. Instead of indulging in the fancy fare, the girls ordered in from Pizza Hut (Jess does commercials for the company). Given that the Glass Brasserie offers everything from crab bisque to creme brulee, it sounds like the girls missed out on a treat.

I'm sure Glass Brasserie is good food, but nothing different from what you can get in LA.

The Pizza Hut pizza in Sydney is really good - a lot better than elsewhere in the world. Pizza is incredibly competitive in Sydney.

Sometimes you just want a pizza.
I had a guest order a Pizza Hut to be delivered to the piano bar at a hotel I worked at in Vail. We intercepted it, put it on a silver servicing platter and brought it to his table in the bar.
But we try not to let that sort of thing happen.

I think that the Simpson sisters are pathetic. Ashlee can't sing to save her life and Jessica is an idiot for leaving that hottie Nick Lachey. The could be the next set for the simple life sitcom.

I don't think this is somethin to make a head line about. I mean they eat out at restaurants on almost a regular basis. Sometimes you just feel like having a pizza, its as simple as that. They aren't intitled to eat at a expensive place everyday, lets remember that they are NORMAL people.

What difference does it matter? If everyone would take the time to improve their own lives and stop trying to live like a celebrity, the celebrities would be as you and I, NORMAL

Good for the Simpson sisters....since Jessica does Pizza Hut commercials, ordering pizza from there is a good move on her part. (I believe she took some heat recently for not wearing a brand of jeans she endorsed.)

I like the Simpson girls but I don't want to be them, and nobody knows what went on in that marriage, they both are hot but that doesn't make a perfect marriage. But I have to agree sometimes you just want pizza!

The Glass Brasserie sounds like a nice place, but I'm sure these girls get sick of all that stuff and just want to sit around in their PJs eating some pizza infron of the TV, but why does it matter what they eat anyway?!?! haha These are some true Texas girls for ya...

I had creme brulee and I wasnt impress!! I would have went for the Pizza as well... beside perhaps they wanted to scarf down in their room without people gawking!!

Look: who really cares? I like pizza, I like Creme Brulee. I'm sure it's the same with the girls. Let's not turn this into a 'snubbing' or even, God forbid, an anti-Paris thing since it happened at a Hilton. Who cares what they had for dinner? At least they eat, unlike some tanorexic starlets.
