Yachts have
typically been difficult places to manuever for those in wheelchairs. Limited amounts of space and muliple decks made
most yachts and even some mega-yachts off-limits. Well, North American Yacht and Shipbuiders have built a great vessel
that brings the excitement and expeireince of yachting to those who use a wheelchair to get around.
Argyll is a 153' motoryacht with living
spaces spread across 4 decks and each deck is serviced by a wheelchair size elevator. And style is not sacrificed for
accesiblility, the interior features Ralph Lauren Home furnishings and accents creating a rich, nautical atmosphere.
The upper deck master suite takes advantage of the entire after section, a position normally reserved for a upper deck
salon. The living area displaced is moved to the sun deck and takes advantage of a panoramic forward view.
Accomodations for 10 are luxurious and spacious. Argyll can be chartered in the Caribbean and New England for $125,000
a week, plus expenses.
