Ahou, Shitake Vodka
A few weeks ago I wondered what type
of vodka flavor hadn't been made yet. At the time I really couldn't think of any flavors that hadn't been made into
vodka. Well, leave it to the Japanese. The latest vodka, which will be called Ahou, will feature the distinctive taste
of shitake mushrooms. The vodka is a grain-based spirit that has been distilled twenty times for purity. It is
described as having an earthy nose with aromas of potato and earthworm.
