Oakley, the company
famous for their sporty sunglasses, has announced a new watch called
the
Oakley Time Tank. The Time Tank is a Swiss-made
chronograph that has a 13-jewel movement. The watch has three sub dials that measure cumulative time, intermediate time
and split time down to the tenth of a second. The watch has luminous phosphors on the minute and hour hands for improved
visibility. It has a 48-month battery and comes with either leather strap or a titanium bracelet reinforced with carbon
fiber. It has a sapphire crystal and a screw-down crown means it is water resistant to 330 feet. The Time Tank should
be available in the second quarter of this year. The leather strap version is $995 and the titanium bracelet version
costs $1195.
