LA Times Hot Property section:--Actor Josh Randall and his wife, actress Claire Rankin sold their Paul Williams-designed cottage in the Hancock Park area for slightly more than $800,000 and traded up to a three-bedroom Colonial Revival in the same areas for around $1 million.
--Michelle Pfeiffer and her husband, writer-producer David E. Kelley, have put their Oahu compound on the market for $12.9 million. The home on Lanikai Beach has 140 feet of beach frontage, a 1930's vintage cottage and separate guest quarters as well as a pool house. Check out the listing here.
--Hong Kong film star, Maggie Quigley has picked up a Studio City home for about $2.23 million.

--Another writer, Salman Rushdie, has been spotted checking out 485 Fifth Ave., the former offices of Tommy Hilfiger which have gone condo.
--It's nearly time to check out the 34th Annual Kips Bay Decorator Show House which is the five-story townhouse owned by Jacqui Safra and Jean Doumanian and still for sale for $55 million.
