Each year, cigar creator and
musician
Avo Uvezian celebrates his birthday in grand style,
with a new cigar.
Cigar Cyclopedia reports that now that Avo
is turning 80 the celebration is even larger. His birthday is on March 22 but the party starts
March 18 in Florida
with a birthday celebration, private concert and the release of the new Avo 80th cigar. Tickets to this event cost $145
and include dinner, wine and six cigars including one Avo 80th. Avo will tour the U.S. throughout March and April
and then heads to Europe. The cigar is a 6-inch by 52-ring torpedo with an Ecuadorian sun-grown wrapper and four
different interior leaves of ligero and seco. Only 6,000 cigars will be made and they retail for $15 each or $360 per
box. There are also 80 special Avo 80th humidors that include 20 Avo 80th cigars as well as 60 other Avo favorites, a
straw hat, and an invitation to the Avo birthday party in the Dominican Republic on June 23. Viva Avo!

Avos are splendid cigars. Mild and balanced, they leave little in the way of bad aftertaste. The connoisseur's choice.
