Hendrix Electric vodka is a "super-premium" vodka created by
Distilled Resources, which we mentioned a few weeks ago. In addition to their potato vodkas they also do grain vodkas
like this one which uses corn and rye from Idaho and Utah as well as Rocky Mountain spring water which is distilled
through four stainless steel columns and then filtered through carbon and crystal. The vodka will be available in May
2006 and pomegranate and habanero flavors are planned for fall.

I wonder how long people will continue to believe in this "super premium" vodka category. Vodka, by nature, is a grain spirit, with limited flavours.
As a bartender, my favorite is when someone orders a Grey Goose and coke. Why? The only reason I see is to seem important or sophisticated. I don't complaint because my tip usually goes up.
