There's no doubt that the Miami real estate
scene is hot. With high-rises going up all over, it would seem that condos have become a ubiquitous good. Thankfully,
one of the nations preeminent architects has come in to break some of the monotony with great design. The
Beach House is a 12 story, 101 unit building that gives each unit a penthouse
vibe with floor-to-ceiling windows and private high-speed elevators. 6 floor plans offer up to 2,800 sq feet and every
unit enjoys a terrace that adds more living space. A beach club with pool and cabanas ensure that you won't forget that
you're at the beach. Because sand gets everywhere, you could opt for the sky pool on the rooftop and lounge about
without the hazards of the beach. You know its in a good location when the shops of Bal Harbor are in walking distance.
It's not that Miami needed another condo building, it just needed one with style.

I live 2 building to the beach house. The prices are ridiculous at 1500-2000 a sq ft. Although the building is nice, the lot is much smaller than the picture shows, besides having other buildings next door which u don't seee in the pic.

Very, very cool design. Fresh, just what Miami Beach needs. Mr. Meier is quite talented.
It's too bad, however, that this project is not in or near South Beach. Anything North of 19th Street reverts back to retirement, sleep community Florida. Bar Harbor included - for all its shopping benefits.
