Kata Sunglasses

Yesterday, I checked out the latest Judith Leiber sunglasses. Today, let's look at the Kata Spring/Summer collection. Kata is the work of designer Kristin Aronnson, who has an industrial design background and infuses metal with acetate to create classic shapes in a spectrum of colors. The latest line is called Kawaii and mixes woods such as American Oak, Mahogany and Wenge with acetate. The Beam model is shown here. These are the polar opposite of the glasses we saw yesterday, minimalist instead of ornamented but simply posh and as craveworthy as the Cartier Precious Wood sunglasses. More from the Kata line after the jump.
