Breath Palette Flavored Toothpastes
Lately toothpaste has wandered away from basic
mint. If you've tried out cinnamon and lemon and are ready to really expand your tastes get ready for the 31-flavor Breath Palette Line. The toothpaste comes in flavors as exotic as darjeeling tea,
pumpkin pudding and Indian curry. The entire 31-flavor kit sells for $160
at Neiman Marcus or you can buy themed sets such as the smoothie or zen palate. [via The Cool Hunter]

Hmmm...31 flavors huh. Toothpaste isn't ice cream, why would I want that many flavors of toothpaste? I'm sure just like ice cream there are some flavors that I wouldn't like and would end up never using.
On top of that, the design is pretty bland. For $5 a tube, I would expect a slick looking container.

'The toothpaste comes in flavors as exotic as Indian curry'
Who would *want* their breath to smell like curry?

I think you guys are missing the point. Everyday same flavor toothpaste, and finally someone comes out with something that is all natural without soap in it (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate)and sugar and all you can post are negative comments. Life is fun, why shouldn't toothpaste be fun. I tried Breath Palette and it is GREAT! You taste the flavor for a few seconds and then it goes to a menthol finish. The Indian curry taste more like ginger. The Blueberry is fantastic as is the Darjeeling tea and Pineapple. I think the packaging is cool and simple, not wasteful. Why pay for packaging that ends up in a landfill. Peace.

I bought this stuff in the summer of 2005 from a small shop on Cape Cod. I got the Blueberry. It was a waste! It does taste good, but your mouth doesn't feel that "clean Feeling" after brushing. I'd stick to Crest.

If I felt like eating a blueberry, i'd...well, eat a blueberry.
One of the purposes of toothpaste was, i thought, to have a clean breath. I think mint or peppermint does that best.
Flavored toothpastes might be good for kids, though.

Or have we just been conditioned by marketers to equate mint with 'clean?'

I bought this, it was gross, my friend said I smelled like a dirty Indian when I tried the curry flavored. If you want clean teeth, save the money and just buy Crest, this is so gimmicky and gay (brokeback reference)

What nutty company came up with THIS idea? I ask because I want to be sure I sell any stock in it I may have!! This sounds like a sure-fire BOMB!

Well, I like the idea of different flavors, love the banana and the cola flavors. If the cola has Keanu Reeves buying up the lot then I suppose it's good enough for me.
