Gizmag has
an interesting piece on the designs for the M-147, a new groundbreaking megayacht. Paris-based designer Hermidas
Atabeyki has created a 147 meter (over 482 feet) yacht that has helicopter landing pads and an integrated submarine.
The yacht has a loggia which stretches the entire width of the yacht, connecting the main salon and dining room. The
stern features a round room with a continuous glass front for a 270° panorama view. The yacht has a swimming pool,
a cinema and a disco. It would have a capacity for 24 in six guest suites, five VIP suites and an owner's cabin. Blohm
Voss will build the ship if it ever gets created and it could cost over 250 million Euros. Of course, when we are
talking megayachts, Roman Abramovich comes to mind. He's been rumored to be interested in creating the yacht. It would
definitely take deep pockets and a sense of adventure to bring this project to life.
